Review: Devoured by Emily Snow

3 stars! ***

Author: Emily Snow

Title: Devoured (Devoured #1)

Fast forward two years from All over You and we find out what really happened at the end of it. Sienna didn't just dissapear and never came back. She left for a couple of days because of her mother is selfish, self-centered. And she's also a prisoner.

Lucas is still being blackmailed by his ex-wife Sam. And he is still an overconfident rockstar asshole. Not much has changed there.

Something pulls him to Nashville and he decides to buy a house there. And the house he chose belongs to no other than than Sienna's grandmother, who's drowning in bills because of her daughter Rebecca. She's not able to keep the house anymore and it's decided at court that it will belong to Lucas.

Kylie (Lucas's sister and personal assistant) goes on a vacation and Sienna temporarily takes her place - under the condition that Lucas'll give the house back to her grandmother and that he'll not touch her until she asks. Which he wants very much. Which she eventually does.

Their relationship seems to progress a bit and Sam strikes again, which makes Lucas act like an asshole and they part.(view spoiler)

Finally Sienna found a bit of her backbone ans stood up for herself. Hopefully she won't lose it again.

I'm guessing that the other two books in this series will be practically the same: everything goes pretty well, then Sam does something to fu*k it up.

Where did my dual POV go? :((
