Review: Easy Love by Kristen Proby

4 stars!

Author: Kristen Proby

Title: Easy Love (Boudreaux, #1)

Eli, a workoholic CEO, who's trying to be what he thought his father wanted him to be. Someone steals from within his company and has to hire Kate (she knows the rest of the family - 5 siblings and his mother). When they see each other they both feel instant attraction. At first they try to resist it, but then they stop trying to fight it and we have some hot steamy scenes.

Kate goes undercover while she investigates and after while it's pretty obvious who steals (not at first, though; we had several suspects and many misunderstanding but in the end it's clear who does it).

We also meet Lila, and we get to know bit more about her. If you read her novel (Easy with You) as a first one like me, it will enlight some things that didn't really make sense in it.

After the crime is resolved and the relationship between Eli and Kate ends. As does the book.

Nah, not really, not yet anyway.

Misunderstating happens (because we can't have a romance book without a misunderstanding!) and Eli has to come for Kate to Denver. They made up, happy ever after.

Epilogue is kind of a prolog for Rhys' story (Easy Charm). I'm really excited for that one and also for Van's story, I'd love to see her and Ben's HEA.
