Review: Deal Breakers by Laura Lee

3.5 stars! ***

Author: Laura Lee

Title: Deal Breakers (Dealing With Love #1)

Devyn and Riley has been friends for a couple of years. The met the first year at university and has been unseparable ever since. They bonded over sports and beer. And while they do feel atracted to each other they don't pursue it.

Riley is a man-whore but at least he keeps one girl around for a couple of weeks before he bores of her and dumps her.

Devyn (I really don't think this is supposed to be a girl's name) is a gorgeous blond, she loves football (the american one) and drinks beer better than most of the men.

They hook up before moving to different parts of the US. Riley who's been attracted to Devyn from the very beginning stars to ignore her after that.

Fast forward five years they meet again and Devyn's not alone. She's got a four year old who's the spitting image of his daddy.

It was on the shorter side but it felt alright. It wasn't rushed (at all! it took them ten years after all). Sometimes I felt a bit of deja-vu because a lot of scenes were about the same thing, in the same place.

I loved the little Nathan. He's the cutest of kids I've read about until now. Or at least his in the top 10. But he's definitely the funniest. Yep, he's asked his mother why his weenie gets big when he plays with it. For real.

But Devyn's and Riley's chemistry was off the charts! Steamy smoking hot!

Title: Recorder and Randsell (volume 1)

Atsumi, a highschool sophomore, and a fifth grader Atsushi aren't your normal, stereotypical siblings.

Atsumi is so tiny that she's often mistaken for a much younger kid and Atsushi is so tall that everyone thinks he's an adult.

Many misunderstandings happen because of this. He's often stopped by the police, because they think he's abducting a little kids.

Well. Maybe not so many. Because this "joke" that he's being arrested is in every chapter (and they are only couple of pages long), for the same reason over and over again.

Yeah. The first time it was quite funny. The second time it was okay. But the third? Not so much.

Also the layout was weird. It wasn't like it is in manga or manhwa. There were two columns on the page and each had to be read from the top to the bottom and you head to start from the left one.

Review: Muirwood: The Lost Abbey by Jeff Wheeler

2 stars! **

Author: Jeff Wheeler

Title:   Muirwood: The Lost Abbey

I chose to read this one because I loved the cover - the coloring, the atmospehere, everything. I didn't even read what it is about. And when I opened it, what was isnside was nothing like I expected. I thought it will be magical, that I'll be left breathless.

But I wasn't. Every page was in colour and maybe that's the reason why it was so hazy.

The first couple of pages I was so confused, because it just didn't make any sense. That was my own fault. It's read from right to left and I read it like manga, so of course it didn't make any sense (it was a tiny bit better after I read it the correct way, but no by much).

Lady Maia is a princess, but was imprisoned by her own father and now he sent her on a mission with a scary scarred man as an escort and protector. She also rules some sort of magical power.

I read only the part and probably won't read the rest. Mostly because of the art and the way the story was told. There were basically no dialogues and the describtions were too short and dry.

Title: Captivated By Your Love (The Blue Hearts #2)

I don't get how someone who wrote such an amazing book (The Right Kind of Love) could write this. It was.. ehm.. eh.. not good.

Justice who we met in The Right Kind of Love is a police officer and he was described as alfa male. I thought he was only possesive and compulsive. Things had to be his way and no one elses. He growled and was saying "mine, mine" like a freaking Tarzan.

Someone can find it romantic and spontanious and impulsive but to me it is just screams "crazy"!

And don't let me start on Abbee. She HAS to be called Bee or she throws a fit. She's so moody. She's angry. No, she's horny. NO, she's furious. Ups, no, she's happily in love. Aaaand she's not. Argh. She resisted everything Justice did, got unreasonably upset, yelled at him and before you turn the page she's doing exactly what he wanted. She's selfish and so damn touchy.

Both of them are so immature it hurts. They don't understand they have to COMPROMISE to have a chance for a happy ending.

Review: The Right Kind of Love by Kennedy Kelly

4.5 "special" stars! ****

Author: Kennedy Kelly

Title: The Right Kind of Love (The Blue Heart #1)

I'm usually sceptical about these type of books - where the girl is raped/kidnapped - so I was pleasantly surprised.

Sydney Summers just moved across the country to escape her past and her stepbrother Wes to start over new in Vegas. When she knocks on her new roommate's door, she's surprised to find out that her roomate isn't she but he.

Damien Blue is a tattoo artist/guitarist and a total man-whore. He's got different girl in his bed every night and he's not planning to change his ways anytime soon. Even having a girl as a roommate isn't going to stop him.

At first those two argue and banter just about everything. They gave each other cute nicknames: prude and pig. You can guess who is who. Oh, and Sydney's little chivauva Zeus is called rat. Well, pig calls him that. Prude thinks of Zeus as her child.

After while Damien stops whoring and his usually revolving bedroom door are actually closed. They become close friends and as their relationship form and grows so does the chemistry between them.

This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. One second I'm laughing at their bickering and the other I'm feeling so sad and angry for Sydney.

In the end Sydney showed up to be a really strong and resilient. She took what she was handled and made the best out of it.

And I totally fell for Damien. Because even though he was a man-whore, he was caring, cute, funny, protective, family oriented and sexy as hell (he's got THE piercing!). [SPOILER: He didn't even want to kiss Sydney when she was drunk, because he wanted it to be special.]

Although their relationship progressed pretty fast, it didn't seem unnatural and unbelievable as it often does.

I ate up the whole book. I went to sleep at 4am just because I had to finish it.

Review: Undone by His Kiss by Anabelle Bryant

3 stars! ***

Author: Anabelle Bryant

Title: Undone by His Kiss (Regency Charms, #2)

Emily Shaw is a feminist and even founded the League of Virtuous Equality. Her father left her a big amount of money and she's able to afford to rent a place for their meetings.

That's where she meets Jasper St. David who rents place at the same building. He just started his own company - Inventive Investments. His brother is an earl and has high expectations of Jasper.

Those two meet and argue a lot. It only makes him want her more. And it makes him kiss her.

Emily has a lot of emotional baggage and doesn't trust man - daddy's issues. And her mother is bipolar I guess, because the way her mood were described just screams it.

She's not the only one with issues and trust issues. Jasper's brother belittles him all the time, which only made him more prideful and bit arrogant.

The book was way to long for how little actually happened, it could be easily novella. Lots of long monologues on the same thing. The characters seemed bit flat and way to unrealistic.

Review: Requiem by Lauren Oliver

2 stars! **

Author: Lauren Oliver

Title: Requiem (Delirium #3)

I'm sorry to say it, but this book was utter disappointment. I guess I had too big expectations. I've been waiting for a big final battle, a lethal fight between Julian and Alex, a romantic make-up scene between Lena and Alex and a huge smile on my face after Hana's death (I really hoped it would happen. Unfortunately it didn't).

Instead what I got were long, boring rants of jealous Lena (aka Alex miraculously came back from death and was acting like an idiot, ignoring Lena and hanging out only and only with Coral - hence the jealous rants). But she was makink out with Julian and sleeping in his tent and deliberetly making him fall in love with her.

What's worse Lena's POV was changing with Hana's POV. I suffered through them, because just as annoying she was before she was cured, now it was even worse.

For more than three quarters of this book basically nothing happened. And then the ending was rushed with no questions answere. Nothing was resolved in the end.

Also, I think that Raven died just so that someone would die.

Two sad stars.

Review: Slashed by Tracy Wolff

3 stars! ***

Author: Tracy Wolff

Title: Slashed (Extreme Risk #3)

The third book in the Extreme Risk series is about Luc and Cam. We've met them before and I was excited to know their story.

In the beginning their relationship is strained, because those two hooked up couple months ago and Cam just disappeared on him in the middle of the night. This caused the strain, because he's been in love with her for almost a decade and Cam didn't reciprocate it and thought herself to be in love with Z (Shredded).

This novel seemed a bit shorter then the other two and there was s lot of going back and forth.

I'd like to say something nice about Cam, but Oh My God! she was so annoying. I didn't like her before I started reading and this book didn't change my opininon. On the contrary.

She acts like she's this tough girl and nothing and no one can break her. But in reality she's insecure, needs way too many assurances and is over-sensitive.

On the other side I loved Luc. Honestly, he's my least favourite out of the trio: Luc, Z and Ash but he's not far behind. He's the perfect example of underdog, he's underrated (that's what he thinks and nobody agrees with him, but those thinkg Cam does to him only helps to cement it). He's sweet and caring - sometimes way to much. He'd probably take Cam back even if she cheated on him right in front of him.

There was basically no romance. Only parts where they had nonstop sex and part with this weird tension.

The ending was a bit abrupt and many things were left unresolved [SPOILER: 1. Cam's mum came back after seventeen years and we don't know why she left, why she came back, how come her brother accepted her right back? 2. Luc's family. There were some hints, but.. 3. The whole pregnancy thing.]. But maybe we'll find out in the next book in the series.

Look what I've got

I know it' got nothing to do with reviews, but at least it related to books! I'm so of this, even though I don't know where I'll put most of those things. My new treasures:

I just had to have the bag and the price didn't matter.

As you can see I'm Harry Potter kind of girl.

And Lord of the Rings kind of girl.
And Hunger Games kind of girl.

My new motto. Doesn't matter if there's inferno outside. Tea and book goes together like Peeta and Katniss, Harry and Ginny, Aragorn and Arwen.

Review: Hana by Lauren Oliver

1 star! *

Author: Lauren Oliver

Title: Hana (Delirium #1.5)

I'm sorry I'm not sorry that I have to say but I really really don't like Hana. She's selfish, self-absorbed, jealous little girl who deserves to be hit in her face.

This novella shows us what was really going in her mind and what was happening at those parties.

The whole time she says that she despised the restictions etcetc and then she [SPOILER: fu*king reports Lena? oh, girl i really wish something evil would happen to you.]

I give this book only one star, not because I didn't like the way it was written or the storyline but only because I loathe Hana with all of my heart. May the odds be never in your favor bit*h.

Review: Delirium by Lauren Oliver

4 stars! ****

Author: Lauren Oliver

Title: Delirium (Delirium #1)

Lena lives in a world where love is considered a disease. Where Romeo and Juliet is being read as an cautionary tale. Where you are given "cure" when you reach eighteen years. And by cure I mean that you have basically no feelings - you don't feel anger, love or passion. It's a world where you live in fear, where there is a curfew for uncured ones, where you almost can't talk to other gender (but it's okay if that someone is cured, because then he can't fall in love - can't be contaminated). Symphatizers are being send to prison or executed, an Invalid is someone who comes from the Wilds.

Her mother was contaminated and in the end commited suicide.
[SPOILER: She didn't kill herself, they send her to the deepest of deepests prisons. She ran away.]

She and her friend Hana kind of fell apart when Hana starts being rebellious and starts to do illegal things - she goes outside after curfew and talks to boys.

She is only few months from being cured when she meets Alex
[SPOILER: He's an Invalid.].

We get some "real" storyline after circa hundred pages. There are lots of descriptions, but they also make the world feel real. It describes the atmosphere and mood perfectly so you feel like you are there.

[SPOILER: I felt for Lena, despised Hana when she turned on Lena and fell in love with Alex who's so sweet with his little poetry reading it almost hurts.]

It (obviously) ends with a cliffhanger the size of Australia, so you just have to read the rest of the trilogy.

Review: Bound by Hatred by Cora Reilly

3 stars! ***

Author: Cora Reilly

Title: Bound by Hatred (Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles #3)

The third instalement in the Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles series was a lot better than Bound by Duty. We didn't have to deal with totally emotionally closed of individual and way too over-sensitive woman.

We've FINALLY got the dual POV.

Gianna, a sister of Ariana (from Bound by Honor), run away six months ago. Away from her fiancé Matteo, a brother of Luca (from Bound by Honor). Away from blood, suffering, torturing and murders. Away from her golden cage where she can't chose who she's going to love and with whom she'll spent the rest of her life. Eventually she gets caught.  [SPOILER: She's find in compromising position (she didn't really do anything except for kissing) and he gets killed.

Even thought that Matteo didn't have to marry her after she escaped and now was believed to have slept with numerous men. He still insists on following through it. Whether it's because of his pride, his possesivness, fascination by Gianna or his feelings? Who knows.

They get married and start to have sex right away. Lots of it. And it doesn't look like it bothers her too much. She acts like it does, but it's futile. Even if Matteo didn't see right through it, his giant ego wouldn't even recognize it.

In the previous books Matteo is portrayed as someone who is quick to kill (which he is - proved somewhere in the middle of the book), ruthless, volatile person who hides it all under his smily persona and nasty jokes. But he's much more. We got to see that he's also caring, protective, adores his brother and loves to cuddle!

Gianna calmed down a bit. Doesn't cause as much trouble as she did before. In the second half of the book her mind stops to be obssesed by running away. And not only because of her ankle monitor.
[SPOILER: She does run away at the end of the book for couple of hours, but in the end she "mans up" and comes back.].

It was part funny, part sad, part romantic, part I-want-to-slap-Gianna. What I apreciated most was the dual POV and the beginning where we could see how it all started.

*My favourite part of the book:
Lily (Aria's and Gianna's little sister) asks what is love and Aria answers:

Love is when you feel safe in someone’s arms, when he’s the first thing you want to see in the morning, love is surrendering. You risk getting hurt but you don’t care. You are willing to give someone the power to break your heart. Love means seeing someone at their worst and still seeing the good in them, love means someone is perfect for you despite their imperfections.

Review: Bound by Duty by Cory Reilly

2.5 stars! ***

Author: Cora Reilly

Title: Bound by Duty (Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles, #2)

This novel was a bit (a lot) weaker than the previous one - Bound by Honor. It was slower and there was a lot less action and adventure.

Dante, who lost his first wife due to cancer, now has to get married again. As a capo he needs a wife and he choses Valentine, who lost her husband in a shooting.

Their relationship progresses really slowly. He doesn't sleep with her on their wedding night and Valentine is really dissapointed, because she REALLY wanted to get rid of her virginity.

As it turns out her husband Antonio was gay and couldn't get it up, therefore she's still virgin. Third of the book is dedicated to her trying to seduce Dante and failing. She gets annoying with her: "am i not attractive enough?" "why doesn't he want me?" "i'll quit trying *couple of minutes later* just let me take this see-through neglige". She repeats it time after time after time.

Thank god, he finally has sex with her. Not that it helps, because Valentine is still not satisfied. If my husband had a shrine of his ex, I would't be either, but she takes it on a whole another level.

They barely talked and she already loves him? Couple pages later.. SPOILER: BAM. She's pregnant. BAM. Antonio is alive. BAM. Antonio is dead.

The ending was really unsatisfactory. We've seen basically no changes in characters, no progress, not even teeny tiny change. Well, okay. Dante became less distant and cold, but that's pretty much all.

Valentina was stubborn, but always let things be. She stood her ground for a while and then she crumbled like a house of cards.

Definitely not what I expected after Bound by Honor

Review: Bound by Honor by Cora Reilly

4.5 stars! *****

Author: Cora Reilly

Title: Bound by Honor (Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles, #1)

While I normally don't enjoy mafia kind of books I loved this one.

There was everything I hate in novels like these. The violence is exused, it's like police doesn't exist  and boys have to kill someone before they even reach puberty. And everyone acts like it's okay, like it's normal - which in their world is, I guess, but still..

While there were all these things and lot more it didn't disturb me as much as it normally does.

Engagement between Aria and Luca is forced and is a mean to end the war between two rivaling "families", so that they can fight against their ever growing enemies.

They get married as soon as Aria reaches her 18th birthday. Luca doesn't force her on her wedding night and even helps her hide the fact. It seems they are getting closer but then she refuses him (yet again) and he goes and cheats on her. His cousin betrayed him and slip Aria a note, that lead her to an apartment where she caught him sleeping with another woman.

At normal novels, this would be either the prologue (the heroine finds that her husband cheated on her, they break up and she finds another playboy who changes his ways only for her) or one of the lasts chapters (it's a misunderstanding, the hero grovels and they made up). But not in this one. Here it only makes Luca and Aria bond.

There are some really disgusting and nightmare inducing parts:
“I hope you’re hungry,” Luca snarled. “Because I’m going to feed you your cock.”
SPOILER: Someone rufied Aria. An eye for an eye - well, in this case it was more like an eye for a life, because he didn't only lose his jewels, but they killed him too.

And it's also filled with cute, romantic, steamy scenes which makes this book so alluring to me.

Another thing I enjoyed was the progress we see in the characters. Aria transformed from scared
mouse into a brave young woman. Luca on the other hand changes from a ruthless, emotionless murderer into a less ruthless, less emotionless husband/capo/murderer.

“But you are my first choice, Aria. I’ll burn down the world if I have to. I’ll kill and maim and blackmail. I’ll do anything for you. Maybe love is a risk, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take and as you said, it’s not a choice."

Review: The Selection by Kiera Cass

4 stars! ****

Author: Kiera Cass

Title: The Selection (The Selection #1)

When I started reading I didn't believe I could give it more than 3 stars, but as I began to be more sucked into the story I decided to give it 4 stars. But still.. I often was like: WHAT, WHY, WHAT DID I DO?

I read it quickly, wanted to know how it will all turn out. The country is divided into castes. At first I didn't really get it - why and how it is like that, but it is explained later on. The Selection is basically a contest for prince Maxon's heart and crown.

The narrator America is funny, kind, free spirited girl that will make you laugh and I guess that later on she will make me cry.

Then there is Aspen.
[SPOILER: America's boyfriend in the beginning, than he broke up with her because she was too good for him blahblahblah. Then he is miracously brought back to the palace as a guard. And OF COURSE he regrets his decision and wants America back! The original thought of love triangle.]
He takes care of his family and is loyal, but incredibly stupid. I mean, who does that?
[SPOILER: Don't persuade the girl you love to sign up! Stupid move. Stupid.]

And Maxon. You can't not love that guy. Awkward in the cutest way possible! His inability to handle crying woman and obvious adoration for his mother. I would want to be part of the Selection too if I had the chance to be with someone like Maxon.
[SPOILER: The kissing scene?]
For better understanding you should read The Prince

Some part were good, hilarious even - America's mother and sister. Some were bad, long-ish and bit boring but I don't regret reading this one and I'm looking forward to reading rest of the books in the Selection saga.

Title: An Iron Fey Valentine

A cute, short story. It's a Valentine's day and Meghan and Ash go to the mortal world on a romantic (a classical teenager's date - dinner and movie) date.
While it's short it shows us and reasures us, that they got their HEA and everything is all right in paradise and that Ash is still as cool (and as much hot as an ice-prince can get) as ever.

Review: Belinda by Peggy Webb

2 stars! **

Author: Peggy Webb

Title: Belinda (The Dixie Virgin Chronicles, #1)

Well. What to write and not be rude?

Belinda, is a virgin and member of Dixie virgin club with other girls. She never stayes at one place for long and one day she runs into Reeves, who is widower with two kinds. Belinda becomes their nanny. Most of the book nothing happens. Somehow Belinda fell in love with Reeves, that happens kind of overnight and even though he was being dic*k to her. He treats her as a thing, not as a person, always thinking about his dead wife.

Couple pages left and BUM! Suddenly he goes down on his knee and askes her to marry him, telling her he'll love her forever. Just nononono. We never see any development of those kind of feelings and it felt really fake.

But I enjoyed some parts, the ones where the kids were and the ones with housekeeper. That why I give two start instead of just one.

Review: Breathe Me In by Erin McCarthy

3 stars! ***

Author: Erin McCarthy

Title: Breathe Me In (Blurred Lines #5)

The beginning was great and I really enjoyed how Anya and Kane interacted and how they started to bond. But as the story went on I started to get annoyed with Anya for being such a bit*h and with Kane for being such a wimp. I mean, the NYC epizode? He changed his mind with her doing nothing but looking sad.

The ending was way to rushed and nothing was really resolved even though we get to see a glimps of their happy ever after. I'd like to read a novella with those two, how they are three years from now, how they deal with their insecurities and issues and the probable baby.

I expected to see more interaction between her and Chloe and Ethan.

But overall I quite enjoyed this book)

Review: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

5 stars!*****

Author: Jane Austen

Title: Pride and Prejudice

While some may say that the whole story is way too boring and slow-moving with lots of descriptions, others may say that this is the aspect that makes it so readable, successful and popular.
The first paragraph basically says what the whole story is about and sets a certain atmosphere. Back then it might have been interpreted in serious manner, because it shows exactly what the society was like. In twenty-first century people can explain it the same way or look at it from different point of view and see it as sarcastic and ironic (mostly because Austen herself did not get, or even wanted to get married). Depends on each reader how he takes it and with which attitude he reads the book.

In the first chapter we meet Mrs. Bennet who is bit foolish, incredibly rude and laud woman whose only goal in life is to find her daughters good-looking, wealthy husbands. Her polar opposite is her husband, Mr. Bennet, who is a sarcastic man who loves taunting his wife. Then there are five Bennet sisters – Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine and Lydia.

The whole book revolves around Elizabeth and her journey. How she meets Mr. Darcy, how they differ and how they are similar. We can watch how both of them grow throughout the story. At first Elizabeth is too stuck in her books and head to see behind the mask Mr. Darcy wears all the time. And in the end he learns how to put the mask down and she starts to see that not everything is as it seems.

The ending is quite predictable, but satisfying. The characters are all mostly black and white, but there were some pretty surprising scenes.

I personally really enjoyed it and reread it quite a lot of times and would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax while reading. Pride and prejudice, a cup of tea and winter sweater equals a perfect afternoon.

Title: The Wit & Wisdom of Tyrion Lannister

I'm glad that I won the book by accident and didn't buy it. It's just a collection of what Tyrion said. I quess that couple of them were insteresting and funny, but the majority was boring and had no real meaning when taken out of context.

Honestly, if someone wants to read quotes from A Song of Ice and Fire aka The Game of Thrones, than he/she can easily look it up online for free. Well, I think you could read it right there in the bookshop and no one would even notice it. That's how short the "book" is.

It's five-minute read and five-minute waste of time.

Review: Falling for Jillian by Kristen Proby

4 stars! ****

Author: Kristen Proby

Title: Falling for Jillian (Love Under the Big Sky, #3)

Zack and Jilly hooked up couple of months ago and now she moves back to town from L.A. There's a big chemistry between those too and soon they begun they relationship.

Zack's son Seth, adapts to Jilly very well and even shares some secrets - how it was when he was with his mom and we finally find out what really happened.

The scenes where those two talk are cute, hilarious but also bit sad. Opposite of those with Zack. They are sexy, hot and romantic.

[SPOILER: Lo get pregnant - which is not really surprising at all BUT so does Jill.]

We've seen those two drag their baggage for most of the three books, but at the end it seems like they both got rid of it and moved on to better day.

This book I enjoyed the most of the series, yet (still hopeful there will be Seth's story. *fingers crossed* pretty pleaseee).

Title: Seducing Lauren (Love Under the Big Sky, #2)

Ty is one pretty hot lawyer with tattoes and Lo is divorcee with di*khead ex.

I was already intrigued about Lo and Ty from Loving Cara where we've been introduced to both of them and already knew bit of their background.

Lo needs help and of course Ty is the one to do it. As their relationship progresses, many secrets are shared (and what a secrets they are), Lo also develops friendship with Jilly and Cara. Which in the end saves her life. [SPOILER: Her ex attacks her, as he promised/threatend her in the beginning, he ends up in jail with murder assault]

Misty is in there for a while and is still such a bit*h as she was in the previous book, if not more. I'd really like it if someone run her over with his car.

What I really enjoyed were the parts where Lo was talking about the writing process.

We've seen Ty's soft side and how Lo took her head out of her ass and stoped being a dormat (hurray!). Which makes theit relatioship really precious and I was happy to read that.

Overall the story was good, the progress of characters too, but I don't think I will read it ever again.

Title: Easy with you (With Me in Seattle #8.5 & Boudreaux, #1.5)

At first I was confused who the hell is Asher and Lila? Then I remembered Matt's story and it all clicked - Asher aka the hot and haunted police officer.

The story was predictable, Lila and Asher hooked up and then they met when Asher was investigating a murder case - several actualy. You know who is the murderer is right away, and can see where story will go but I enjoyed the part where Matt and Nic visited (I'd kill for a cupcake now!).

It was good to see Asher have a happy end (what I appreciate is that Kristen Proby didn't try to reduce the love he has for his first wife, which raised this novella one star more than I originally intended to give).

Someone steals from within his company and has to hire Kate (she knows the rest of the family - 5 siblings and his mother). When they see each other they both feel instant attraction. At first they try to resist it, but then they stop trying to fight it and we have some hot steamy scenes.

Kate goes undercover while she investigates and after while it's pretty obvious who steals (not at first, though; we had several suspects and many misunderstanding but in the end it's clear who does it).

We also meet Lila, and we get to know bit more about her. If you read her novel (Easy with You) as a first one like me, it will enlight some things that didn't really make sense in it.

After the crime is resolved and the relationship between Eli and Kate ends. As does the book.

Nah, not really, not yet anyway.

Misunderstating happens (because we can't have a romance book without a misunderstanding!) and Eli has to come for Kate to Denver. They made up, happy ever after.

Epilogue is kind of a prolog for Rhys' story (Easy Charm). I'm really excited for that one and also for Van's story, I'd love to see her and Ben's HEA.
